Snowed in? More like the world is snowed out!

Blizzard Nemo has come and past.. good news – we survived!

Maybe it was those months of practice this fall after Max was born, or growing up in a mountain town in Maine, but I look at winter weather – which has trapped many indoors for days – as an opportunity. I finally had a chance to do all of those projects that were put on hold when life gets busy. I finally had a chance to hang out without social obligations. I finally had a chance to just… be.

... great opportunity to catch up on Project Life!

Of course, being in the city, it’s hard to ever get too far away from anyone. So by Saturday night we were out for a quick bite to eat at a local pub (with great food, by the way!) after passing a massive snowball-fight and some unique snow sculptures in the square.

When a friend asked if I was bored on Sunday, I didn’t  know how to answer. “You mean you didn’t have a fantastic weekend at home, doing your Project Life baby album, organizing pictures, and checking all of your friend’s snow photos on Facebook?”

As someone who is rarely bored, I can tell you .. sometimes it’s nice to “just be”. Put on some mello music, grab a glass of wine (or your favorite comfort beverage), and spend some time just wandering around in your own thoughts. Who knows where you might wander to!

xoxo,

Julie
