Project Life Creative Team – Project Life iPhone App
For 2015 I am the proud member of the Project Life Digital Creative Team through BeckyHiggins.com. Every month, I have the opportunity to preview the new digital kits being added to the Project Life iPhone app (coming soon to Android) and I use the new kits to create digital layouts for my annual family album. Check out the introductory post I wrote here. And follow along under the category Project Life CT.
#100 Happy Days Photo Project
#100HappyDays is a free photo documentation project designed to inspire people to start noticing what makes them happy every day, be happier, be thankful, be optimistic, and all sorts of good stuff. If there is one thing that all this life documentation has taught me, it’s that the small, everyday moments – routines, habits, meals – are the things that make up who you are. When we acknowledge and celebrate those small moments, we’re celebrating ourselves. You can learn more about the project by visiting the 100happydays.com website and sign up for free!
Max’s First Year
It took longer than a year, and a lot of revision, but I’m in love with Max’s First Year album. Completed with Becky Higgins’ Baby Edition: For Him (2012), along with supplemental kits from Studio Calico. Check out the full album here.
Wedding Guest Book
I made a mini Wedding Guest book using Becky Higgin’s mini books, a small kit from We R Memory Keepers, and a bunch of creative cropping of the cards we received, and sentiments written on our wedding day. I love what I created and I’m happy to share it in this space.
Journaling + Photo Projects
Me: Abridged Version Project
Me: the Abridged Version is a class led by Cathy Zielske through Big Picture Classes. It’s about telling your story in a fun, creative way. I think telling your story is important – not just for you, but for the people that love you. Join me on this short series of personal photo-journalism and see the pretty things my iPhone can make.
30 Days of Thankful
30 Days of Thankful is a gratitude project that I participate in every November. For 30 days, I highlight something I am grateful for every single day. CZ Design’s 30 Days of Thankful project gives you a chance to reflect on the people, places, and things that you’re grateful for. For more information on this awesome project, visit Cathy’s Blog.

One Little Word
For several years Ali Edwards has started her year with a word. No resolutions or promises to break, just one little word to check back on for guidance or reflection. As she describes it, “You live with it. You invite it into your life. You let it speak to you. You might even follow where it leads. There are so many possibilities.” This year is all about cultivating the best parts of me. So join me on this journey and let’s see where it takes us. For more of my one little word, follow my tag one little word.
Fitness / Health Projects
In 2012, I embarked on my first blogging adventure: 30 Days of Hot Yoga. It was a personal challenge to complete 30 sessions of hot yoga at Baptiste Studios in 30 days in celebration of my 30th birthday. It was an amazing experience. Truly, transformative. Read the full series here!
#Get Fit 2015
Each week on Tuesdays, I’m sharing my experience trying out every local gym, yoga studio, and other exercise scenarios that I think might work for me in 2015. I’ll share my story and the benefits and drawbacks of each option. I’ll share the things I’ve learned and the good and challenging of getting fit in 2015.
